This lesson teaches students the importance of being kind through reading, writing and social interactions. 

In a small group, this lesson teaches students specific skills to identify distinct letter sounds while building and reading CVC words. This lesson is differentiated to meet specific IEP goals. This lesson incorporates student interests to increase motivation and engagement.

This lesson teaches students how to use a number line to solve for subtraction equations. This lesson is differentiated to meet specific IEP goals.

This lesson teaches about the properties and structures of matter through student inquiry and exploration.

This lesson teaches about the effects geographic factors can have on settlement locations. 

These lessons allow for multiple content areas to be addressed at the same time. This helps students to practice skills they are learning in one area, while continuing to learn new things in other core content areas.
